Chowman, Oudh 1590, Chapter 2 and Chaudhury and Company jointly organized the third edition of WalkOMile, reinforcing their continued commitment to employee well-being, collaboration, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

The event began at 5:30 AM with an energizing Zumba session led by ZIN Sumedha, setting a positive and enthusiastic tone for the day. This was followed by the walk at 6:00 AM, which commenced from Southern Samity. Participants collectively covered over 5 kilometers, demonstrating strong engagement and a shared focus on fitness.

The walk was officially flagged off in the presence of Dr. Parikshit Bhattacharya, a well-known metabolic health physician; Arnab Mondal, former Indian footballer; Mr. Santosh Pandey, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, West Bengal; Mr. Asish Roy, ACP Traffic; Sambaran Banerjee, cricket coach and administrator with the Cricket Association of Bengal; and Ranadeep Moitra, former Indian cricketer who represented Bengal. The event witnessed participation from over 1,500 employees across the four brands, highlighting the scale of the initiative and the growing emphasis on structured wellness programmers within the organizations.

The 3rd edition of Walk-O-Mile was powered by Mahindra and supported by Basha – Health , Energy and Rehabilitation Centre, whose association played a vital role in the smooth execution of the event and added strength to its collaborative framework.

Conceptualized as a joint initiative by Debaditya Chaudhury and Shiladitya Chaudhury, Walk-O-Mile continues to evolve as a key platform that integrates fitness with organizational culture. The initiative reflects a long-term vision of embedding wellness into everyday corporate practices, while fostering unity, discipline, and collective responsibility.

With each successive edition, Walk-O-Mile has strengthened its position as a meaningful engagement that extends beyond physical activity, serving as a reflection of shared values, leadership-driven initiatives, and sustainable well-being over the years.
